Chilli Hummus

Dip

I don’t know about you but I love a good homemade hummus! This one has a bit of extra kick with the added chilli and can be adapted to suit your preferred spice levels.

Chilli Hummus

Ingredients:

• 1 can chickpeas

• Juice of 1 lemon

• 2 tbsps tahini

• 2 tbsps olive oil

• 1 clove garlic

• 4 tbsps water

• ½ tsp mild chilli powder

• Pinch of ground cumin

• Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

1. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas and add them to your food processor.

2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until a smooth consistency.

3. Scoop the dip out of the food processor, into the serving bowl.

4. Sprinkle with extra chilli powder and drizzle some olive oil over the top.

5. Enjoy with veggie sticks or crackers.
