Green Gut Smoothie

An exclusive recipe from inside my 3-week Nourished Gut program, this smoothie is packed with gut loving ingredients. It’s lower in sugar with the absence of a common smoothie ingredient, banana, and will keep you feeling full and satisfied with the perfect combination of protein, fibre and healthy fats!

Green Gut Smoothie

Vegan | Gluten Free | Nut Free

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1 handful spinach

  • 1 kiwi fruit

  • 1/3 avocado

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • 1 cup coconut water

  • 1 heaped tbsp protein powder

  • 1 tbsp pepitas

  • 1/2 tbsp linseed meal

  • 1/2 tbsp slippery elm powder (optional)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz to combine, until smooth.

  2. Pour into a glass to serve.
